Notes:

  1. The admissions corrdinator at UAMA makes every attempt to contact a students middle school for clarification regarding any of the following application discrepancies.
    – If a students application does not denote attendance, or if absences are found to be due to extenuating circumstances (in which case those specificc absencces will be deducted from the students total number of absencces provided on the application for sccoring purposes).
    – If a students application does not denote punctuality, or if instancce of tardiness are found to be due to extenuating circumstances (in which case those instances will be deducted from the students total number of tardiness instances for scoring purposes).

UAMA will use data provided directly from the students middle school when possible, including the use of eighth grade data provided in lieu of any unavailable seventh grade data.
  2. For students who are missing results for the New York State exams, the allotted points will be determined based on ELA grades per the 4th table above. Furthermore, for students whose application uses alpha grades, a conversion chart for the conversion of the alpha grades into numberical grades will be used per the 3rd reference above.
